The birth of your firstborn child is supposed to be the best day of your life, a joyous occasion. Well that’s what twenty-eight year old Ava Jacobson thought. This is the story of Ava and her gut wrenching journey of
having her first born child. While
Sebastian, her fiancé is away at war in Afghanistan she goes into labor, three
months early. The obstacles that are
faced when you have a premie are hard enough but having to deal with them alone
are even worse. Cue Dr. Ashton Bailey ;)
Ashton is her daughters’ attending physician and there are
sparks from their first meeting!! He is so dreamy. I know
cheating is a touchy subject for some, and I do not condone it, but… I felt
like it totally worked for this story. My heart broke for Sebastian and a few
times I was pissed at Ava & Ashton, but in the end I’m glad it worked out
for them.
Elena did a fantastic job with this book and I still can’
believe this is her debut novel!! Get ready for more because Sebastian’s book
is coming next ;)
Independent author Elena Matthews was born in Manchester, United Kingdom, where she lives with her other half, but even after eight wonderful years, she is still waiting for that epic proposal.
